Our individualized lessons in "Photography 101" are a wonderful gift to yourself or to someone you know.

There is no substitution for the value of knowledge, and there is no better way to gain that knowledge effectively than having private, customized, individualized lessons with a working professional that also knows how to teach people and work with them at their pace.

Our full course costs less, a lot less, than just many simple photo accessories and will pay for itself time and again with your advanced skills and new understanding of photgraphy.

We have a variety of approaches, and offer flexible scheduling.  Here's a good summary from a recent student:

We structure programs at the beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels based on what each student already knows and what they want to learn. 

Photography 101 Mentoring Course
Covers "photography 101":  basic camera functions, composition, basic photographic functions, the interaction of camera settings and the photograph, lenses, digital workflow, Photoshop, Lightroom, and includes practice shooting time

• Two four-hour individual private lessons
• Based from our beautiful new Falmouth studios
• On-location practice photo shoot/s
• Assignment between sessions
• Basic - beginner level, $249.00 complete
• Ongoing refresher lessons for after course completion available...see below
• Intermediate and Advanced levels by quotation

• Prerequisites- just a desire to learn.  And your own digital SLR camera and lens.

Options and Advanced Mentoring

• Hourly rates available $50/hr, 2 hour minimum. Basic and Intermediate Levels
• Use of our student loaner professional camera (Canon 5D with 24-105 professional lens)
  $49 additional, for use during mentoring sessions
• Advanced level studio instruction, $90/hr.
• Ongoing weekly refresher lessons (requires completion of our Photography Mentoring 101 Course)
  $150  - six weeks of 1 hour sessions
  $270 -  six weeks of 2 hour sessions
